Modern medicine has advanced tools to evaluate the composition of our blood and urine. Although this is generally applied in a reductionist and allopathic context, blood work and other labs can be incredibly helpful when used as tools of assessment in a holistic health practice.
This full-day intensive will do a deep dive into how to read and assess a client or patient’s lab results, utilizing examples derived from whole-person cases to relate numbers on the page to real-life scenarios. Although the focus will be on blood work, we will also look at some urine-based testing.
A little more about this class:
Specific topics will include labs for: thyroid disease, sex hormone levels, adrenal health, anemia, immune system health, renal and hepatic health, chronic infection such as Lyme, EBV, etc., and mold toxicity.
Legal disclaimer: Please note that unless you have an MD, DO, or similar license, depending on the state of your residence, you cannot legally diagnose disease. Everything taught in the class will be presented within the context of legal practice as herbalists, acupuncturists, etc.
